Yesterday, though, I was ready to unload "Pappy" (the older of the two, 9 years old) at the nearest dog pound. Why, you ask? Because of this:
That is my son, Will's, brand new sport coat that I just purchased a few days ago. Still in the bag from Macy's--bag and sleeve shredded, unwearable, unfixable. The photo cannot do the damage justice but it is beyond repair. I have to throw it away and buy another one. And at the rate that Will is growing, I really do not like buying him clothes now anyways!!! He just keeps growing out of things, almost as fast as I buy them.
So, needless to say, I was pretty peeved at the Papster. I do have to say, though, that this is very unusual for him and that I'm actually a bit worried about the little guy. He's getting older and has been acting a bit odd these past few months. I think it's time to take him in for a check-up.
This incident happened while he was crated in the back of my car. We were traveling back home from Indiana and the back of my car was filled to the brim. All the hanging clothes, including the sport coat, were laying over suitcases which were right next to his crate. Somehow he managed to pull in the bag and sleeve, and Go To Town.
It's a good thing he's so cute, otherwise he would be part of a different family right now. :-)
